1) total money spent on the apples bought (CP)= number of apples x Rs = 16 x 10= 160 rs
total money earned by the apples sold (SP) = number of apples x Rs = 12 x 12 = 144Rs
Loss = CP - SP = 160 - 144 = 16 Rs
2) b) Total capacity of a all the bottles in ml = 4(500) + 3(625) = 2000ml + 1875ml = 3875 ml
Total capacity of a all the bottles in l = 3875/10000 = 3.875 l

Sol:-A fruit seller buys 16  apples = 12  * 10
                                                 =120
       and  he sells 12 apples        = 12*12
                                                = 144
                              Profit          =144-120
                                               =  24
