b) Flexible nature of plasma membrane is useful for amoeba.It helps it in engulfing food by allowing it to form psedupodia(false-feet). The process is phagocytosis. the flexible nature of plasma membrane helps in engulfing food by allowing it to form pseudopodia (False feet).
