Q1.An enzymologist has isolated and purified an enzyme M. To check the
activity of an enzyme he performed several different experiments.

a. Assume that the characteristic optimum temperature of the Enzyme M is
50°C. What would be the change in rate of a reaction catalyzed at 85°C
temperature? Thermostable enzymes retains its conformation at higher
temperature, while in case of thermolabile enzymes retains its
conformation at lower temperature. Why?
