Step-by-step explanation:

Q1.

(a) 2/3, 4/9, 5/6

Taking LCM of denominator, we have,

= 12/18, 8/18, 15/18

Clealry, 15/18 > 12/18 > 8/18

Therefore, we get,

=> Descending order : 5/6 > 2/3 > 4/9

(b) 7/12, 11/36, 37/72

Taking LCM of denominator.

= 42/72, 22/72, 37/72

Clearly, 42/72 > 37/72 > 22/72

Therefore, we get,

Descending order: 7/12 > 37/72 > 11/36

Q2.

Wall Painted by Devansh = 2/3

Remaining wall to be painted = 1/3

Wall painted by sister = 1/4(1/3) = 1/12

Total wall painted = 2/3 + 1/12

= (8+1)/12

= 9/12

= 3/4

Hence, 3/4 of the wall is total painted.

Q3.

(a) 0.8 = 8/10 = 4/5

(b) 2.25 = 225/100 = 9/4

(c) 3.025 = 3025/1000 = 25/8
