2. Two important uses of washing soda:

(i) It is used in the manufacture of soap and glass.

(ii) It is used to remove the permanent hardness of water.

3. Chemical formula of baking soda is NaHCO₃.

Chemical formula of bleaching power is Ca(ClO)₂.
