The given circuit is a balanced wheatstone bridge . For this to be balanced ,

Here in this case it is satisfying , therefore current doesn't flow through the 5Ω resistor .
So we can remove it , this will not change anything in the circuit.
Here 1Ω and 2Ω are in series , and same goes with 2Ω and 4Ω .
They become 3Ω and 6Ω which make a parallel combination .
Therefore the equivalent resistance of the circuit is 2Ω .
By using the relation V = I*R
we get 4 = I*2
From that I = 2 Ampere
