Story made from the given outlines:
Once, Emperor Akbar put questions and riddles to his courtiers for testing their wits. One question he asked was very strange. He asked his courtiers– "How many crows are their in the city". No one was able to answer it.
At that time, Birbal, the wittiest courtier, entered the court and saw the courtiers and understood about the matter. He bowed the emperor and took his chair. He was ready to answer the strange question. His answer to the question was– fifty thousand three hundred and seventy eight crows. The emperor was astonished. Birbal also added that if there are more, then some of them have come from other places and if there are less, then some of them have gone for visiting their friends.
Birbal was admired by Akbar and the other courtiers for his wits. Akbar exclaimed– "Matchless Indeed!"
★ From this story, we got to know that Birbal was a very clever and wit courtier in Emperor Akbar's court.
