Question:

Construct an isosceles triangle

with each of equal sides of length 3cm

and the angle between them as 60°.

Solution :

Let △ABC be the isosceles triangle.

∴∠AB = 3cm and ∠BC = 3cm.

∴ ∠AB = ∠BC = 3cm .

So , this is known as isosceles triangle.

Note : Constructed angle in the attachment.

Additional Information:

  • The triangle have two sides equal and other side different is known as isosceles triangle.
  • The two sides congruent and third side different is one of the property of isosceles triangle.
