▪ Social:- the emergence of an influential bourgeois which was family part of the Third Estate (commoners) but had evolved into the case with its own agenda aspired to political equality with the clergy (First estate) and the aristocracy (Second estate).


▪ Financial:- French's debt aggravated buy French involvement in the America Revolution ledm LouisXVI to implement new taxation and to reduce privileges.

▪ Political:- LouisXVI faced strong oppositions from provincial Parliament which the spearheads of privileges classes to Royal reforms.
