Children's Day is celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and fervor. children's Day is celebrated as a tribute to independent India's first prime minister, Pandit Jawahar Laal Nehru , on 14th November. It aims to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of the children. Our school celebrate this day every year, events are organized and competitions are conducted. Every year we get to meet a chief guest, and last year it was extra special for me, as it had Sachin Tendulkar as the chief guest. Sachin Tendulkar is my favourite sports person. the program started with Saraswati Vandana , sung by a group of students of class 12th. then our Principal sir gave welcome speech and introduced Mr Sachin Tendulkar. he is the finest cricketer of all time. he is considered as "the god of cricket". to see him live was like a dream come true for all of us. he thanked our school for inviting him as a chief guest, and he shared how happy he was to be a part of this program. In his speech, he shared his thoughts on the importance of education and sports, and how everyone should make efforts to achieve their goals in life. This was a lifetime experience for me.
