A1 - First law of reflection:

First law of reflection:The incident ray, the reflected ray, and the normal to the surface of the mirror all lie in the same plane.

A2 - When two mirrors are placed at angles to each other we get multiple images because the image formed by one mirror acts as an object for the second mirror.

Further images of an image are also formed. Two mirrors placed at right angles (90°) to each other will form actually 3 images.

A3 - The number of images depends on the angle between the two mirrors. The number of images formed in two mirrors at an angle A to each other is given by the formula:

Number of images = 360/A - 1.a

= 10360/10 - 136-1 = 35
