Answer: (A)

x^2+15x+4x+60

X(X+15)+4(X+15)

(X+4)+(X+15)

X=-4 or X=-15

(B) 3x2-10x+8

−6×−4=24 the product of the coefficient of the first and the last term

−6+−4=−10 the split for the middle term

Now, splitting the middle term we get

=3x 2-6x-4x+8

=3x(x−2)−4(x−2)

=(x−2)(3x+4)
