Q3.

1. Frictional electricity is the electricity produced by rubbing two suitable bodies and the transfer of electrons from one body to other. The body which loses the electrons becomes positively charged while the body which receives the electrons, becomes negatively charged.

2. Speed is the time rate at which an object is moving along a path, while velocity is the rate and direction of an object's movement. Put another way, speed is a scalar value, while velocity is a vector.

3. Why would the weight of an object be maximum at the poles and minimum àt the equator. Assertion : The difference in g at the poles and the equator of the earth is directly proportional to the square of its angular velocity. Reason : The value of g is minimum at the equator and maximum at poles.
