Q1.
- Sita had to write, hadn't she?
- You never met me, did you?
- One comes late, doesn't one?
- She’d rather dance, wouldn't she?
- Let me help you, will you?
- Never tell a lie, should you?
- Somebody comes late, doesn't someone?
- Everything can be done, can't it?
- I have no idea how to do it, do I?
- Rita cut an apple, didn't she?
The addition of a question tag changes a statement from affirmative to interrogative.
While doing so the following points should be kept in mind-
- Since it is an interrogative sentence, obviously there should be an addition of the question mark (?) at the end of the statement.
- The intended meaning must not be altered in any way.
- Generally, either wh-word like 'who, where, whom, when,' etc or words like 'couldn't he, isn't it, can't they ', etc are added to change a statement into an interrogative sentence.
