Hi ,
1 ) Number of rational numbers
required = n = 5
Multiply and divide given numbers
with ( n + 1 ) = ( 5 + 1 ) = 6
-3/5 = ( -3 × 6 )/( 5 × 6 ) = -18/30
1/5 = ( 1 × 6 )/( 5 × 6 ) = 6/30
Therefore ,
Required 5 Rational numbers between -3/5 and 1/5 are
-17/30 , -16/30 ,-15/30 , -14/30, -13/30
2 ) -5/7=(-5×3)/(7×3) =-15/21 = -165/231
-2/3 =(-2×7)/(3×7)=-14/21= -154/231
Therefore ,
Required 10 Rational numbers are ,
-164/231, -163/231,-162/231,-161/231
-160/231,-159/231,-158/231,-157/231,
-156/231,-155/231
I hope this helps you.
