Explanation:

➙x+y= 5------(1)

➙2x+y= 7-----(2)

Taking first Equation

x+y=5

➙x=5-y

At y= 0

➙x= 5

At y=1

➙x= 4

Plot the points (5,0) & (4,1) into graph

-----------------------------------------------------------

2x+y= 7

➙y= 7-2x

At x= 0

➙y= 7

At x=1

➙y= 5

Plot the points (0,7) & (1,5) into graph

After plotting the points we obtained graph is in a straight line which intersect at (2,3)

Hence, the solution of the given equation is (2,3)

Which means x= 2 & y= 3.
