Q1-Give reason of the following:
1-Icebergs floating in sea water are dangerous ships.
2-A submarine can float like an ordinary ship and sink when required.
3-A balloon filled with hydrogen or helium rises in the air.
4-An iron nail sinks in water but a huge ship made of iron and steel floats in water.​

answer 1 - ice bergs floating in sea water are dangerous for ships because when they come in contact together the harm goes to ships which can made them sink also.

answer 2 - a submarine can float like an ordinary ship and sink when required because when the tanks are empty the submarine has less mass and it floats like and ordinary ship but when the water is allowed into the tanks the mass increases then they sink into the water

answer 3 - a ballon filled with hydrogen or helium rises in the air because these gases are very light weighted that make the ballon rises up.

answer 4 - the iron nails sink in water but a huge ship made of iron and steel doesn't sink in the water because the bottom of the ship is designed as to float in water which doesn't happens with iron nails
