Answers
Answer:
I) The most commonly encountered rat-tailed maggot is the larva of the drone fly, Eristalis tenax. It lives in stagnant, oxygen-deprived water, with a high organic content. It is fairly tolerant of pollution and can live in sewage lagoons and cesspools.
II) Sun is a luminous object as it can produce its own light. The objects that emit its own light. are called luminous objects.
III) Warm water holds less dissolved oxygen than cold water, so summer is the time when fish can have a hard time getting enough oxygen. ... So on warm summer nights during algal blooms, the dissolved-oxygen concentration sometimes drops too low for the fish, and a die-off can occur.
IV) A solar eclipse occurs when the moon gets between Earth and the sun, and the moon casts a shadow over Earth. A solar eclipse can only take place at the phase of new moon, when the moon passes directly between the sun and Earth and its shadows fall upon Earth's surface.
