1. Salt mixes well in water to form a clear salt solution. As we know, salt and water have different boiling points. Hence, we can use the "evaporation" technique to separate salt from salt solution. For this, one has to simply heat the salt solution till all the water boils and evaporates, and salt is left behind.

2. No, mixture of chalk and water is not solution.it is suspension because chalk doesn't dissolve in water.

3. chalk powder is a carbonate compound, insoluble in water. Because of this property of chalk powder, it is easy to separate it from water. The mixture containing chalk powder and water is allowed to get filtered. After filtration, the retentate obtained is chalk and the filtrate obtained is water without chalk
