Answer:

if ∆ ABC ~ ∆ DEF, then ratio of corresponding sides are equal.

ie AB/DE = BC/EF = AC/DE

hence, 4/6 = BC/9 => BC = (4 × 9)/6 => 6 cm

similarly, AC/6 = 4/6 => AC = (4 × 6)/6 => 4 cm

therefore perimeter of ∆ ABC = AB + BC + CA

=> 4 + 6 + 4 = 14 cm

Answer:

Since,

∆ABC~ ∆ DEF

Therefore AB/DE= BC/EF =AC/DF

Now,taking

AB/DE=BC/EF

=>4/6=BC/9

=>BC= 6

Again, taking

AB/DE=AC/DF

=>4/6=AC/12

=>AC=8

Therefore Perimeter of  ∆ABC is

=> AB+BC+AC

=>4+6+8

=>18 cm

Hope it helps...
