Q1) If abscissa is twice the ordinate of a point
P(a, a - 3), then plot the point P?

Q2)Find the coordinates of the point whose abscissa
is 4 and ordinate is three fourth of abscissa. Also

1.Coordinate :(x,y)

5 points

x is the abscissa

y is the ordinate

Given point = P = (a,a-3) =

Now we are given that abscissa is twice the ordinate

Abscissa = a

Ordinate = a-3

So, a=2(a-3)

a=2a - 6

6= 2a - a

6 = a

So, Abscissa = a =6 Ordinate = a-3-6-3=3

Ans = 6,3

2.x=4

y=3/4

=3/4*4

(x, y)=[4,3]
