Q1 If an object is thrown vertically upward with speed 49 m/s. How long does it take to complete upward journey? What maximum height does ot achieve?

Q2 An object starting from rest covers 20 metres in first 2 seconds and 160 metres the next 4 seconds. What is its velocity after 7 seconds from the start?

1. v=u+at
49=0+10*t
t=49/10
t=4.9sec
Now,
S=u*t+1/2*a*t*t
S=0+1/2*10*4.9*4.9
S=120.05 m
