The journey of waste or trash is very polluting and dangerous for the environment.

Explanation:

  1. The journey of rubbish starts with the households were they get collected after which they move towards the garbage, if not maybe littered on roads by street animals and other uneducated people.  
  2. Then this garbage goes segregation where the plastics and other recycled items are removed and then it enters the landfill sites where its dumped worth large mounds of compost waste matter in huge pills of hills made by the municipality.
  3. This waste piled up created air pollution and is hazardous to the bird and animal life that live in the surrounding areas. If this waste or trash pill gets eroded by rain or falls down it pollutes the water bodies as rivers.

The river then gets degraded and the time it stays on land it pollutes the soil by spreading diseases and harmful bacteria. Heavy metals and other chemicals also enter the soil through it.
