Given :- In a long row of students, Divya is nineteenth from the left and Mohan is twenty third from the right end. Akash is twentieth from the right of Divya and third form the right of Mohan. How many total students are there in the row.

A. 56 B. 58 C.59 D. 61

Answer :-

→ Divya Position from left = 19 .

→ Akash position = 20 from right of Divya = 19 + 20 = 39 from left .

now,

→ Akash position in respect of mohan = third to the right .

then,

→ Mohan position from left = 39 - 3 = 36 .

now, given that,

→ Mohan position from right end = 23 .

therefore,

→ Total students = Mohan position from left + mohan position from right - 1 = 36 + 23 - 1 = 59 - 1 = 58 (Ans.)
