i) 10

ii) 20

Explanation:

Score= 20

Number of correct answer= 10

So, score should be 30 (Given than every correct answer gives 3 marks)

but since score is 20, number of wrong answers= 10

(every wrong answer leads to a loss of 1 mark)

Now, number of wrong answers+ number of correct answer= number of total questions

So questions= 10+10

= 20

Hope it helps you.

Answer:

(i)sona got 10 answers correct.

   1 correct answer = 3 marks

   10 correct answers = 10×3 = 30 marks

but she got only 20

    1 wrong answer = -1 mark

that means she attempted 10 incorrect answers.

(ii) from (i) she made 10 incorrect answers

from the question 10 correct answers.

no.of questions in the test= no.of incorrect+ no.of correct answers

                                        = 10+10= 20
