Grass, Grasshopper, Frogs, Snakes
How much of energy will be available to snakes and frogs?
Q2. In the following food chain, plants provide 500J of energy to rats. How much energy will be available to hawks from snakes?
Plants, Rats, Snakes, Hawks
*the answers given in Oswaal guide and the answers given for the above questions in google according to 10% law shows that (for the first question) The grass has 4000J, Grasshopper has 400J, Frogs have 40J, Snakes have 4J. (For the second question) for rats 500J, Snakes 50J, Hawks 5J.
If it is so, why is the grass having 4000J instead of the Grasshopper as it is for the second question's answer and why is Rats having 500J instead of Plants having 500J as it is in the first question's answer?
