a) Muddy water:-

Since it is a colloid, (Sol) then on filtration, no residue will be left. Or, there is no residue. But on centrifugation, we will be getting mud particles as residue.

b) Water and rice:-

It is a suspension. Thus, the residue will be rice and the filtrate will be water.

c) Tea and tea leaves:-

It is also a suspension. Tea leaves will be the residue and tea would be the filtrate. Tea is an emulsion.

d) Sand and water:-

It is a suspension. Thus, sand will be the residue and water would be the filtrate.

e) Chalk and water:-

It is a suspension. Similarly, we are getting chalk particles as the residue.
