Ans- The two vious that stuck work at Sophie's house were the household staff union and the Union of Cooks and Kitchen Employees Union.

Due to the strike of the household staff. Sophie's hair could not be styled as her maid was a member of the union and later due to strike of the cooks and Kitchen employees and union the dinner was not made.

ophie’s maid believed in capitalist Principal.Then why did she belong to union and strike work?

Ans- Although Sophie's march to believed in capitalist priuciples, she belonged to the union and stuck work because she could not annoy the unon and had to seek employment through them to make a living.

Ans- Gasper was an omelette specialist and had earther and earlier been a valet. He was hired to prepare the Byzantine Omelette for the Duke of Syria who was coming to Sophies ko house for dinner.

Ans- Gasper had been a valet before he became all omelette specialist and he was one of the strike breakers in the great Strike at Lord Grimford's two years ago. As soon as staff learned that she had Sophie's household engaged him, they went on Strike and demanded she dismiss him. But when she dismissed him to placate them, the cooks and Kitchen staff& Employees uuion went to strike and as a result there was no dinner prepared for Sophie's guests and her party was a flop.
