Answer:

250

400

Step-by-step explanation:

With 5 children in 1 family there can be 6 cases

5 Boys - No girls - 1

4 Boys 1 Girl - 5

3 Boys 2 Girl - 10

2 Boys 3 Girl 10

1 boys 4 girls 5

No boys 5 girls 1

Total number of cased = 2⁵ = 32 or 1 + 5 + 10 + 10 + 5 + 1 = 32

Probability of 3 boys & 2 girls = 10/32

With 800 family = (10/32) * 800 = 250

250 Families would be expected to have 3 boys and 2 Girls

Almost 2 girls means , No girl , 1 Girl & Two Girls

= 1 + 5 + 10 = 16

Probability of almost 2 girls = 16/32 = 1/2

With in 800 family = (1/2) * 800 = 400

400 Families would be expected to have almost 2 girls
