Explanation:

x-2y= 2-----➊

3x+4y= 3----➋

From equation 1

we get ,

x= 2+2y ----❸

Now, put Equation 3 into Equation 2

=> 3x+4y=3

=> 3( 2+2y) +4y= 3

=> 6+6y+4y= 3

=> 10y+6= 3

=> 10y= 3-6= -3

=> y= -3/10

Put y's value into equation 1

=>x-2y=2

=> x-2*-3/10=2

=> x-+6/10=2

=> x+3/5=2

=>x = 2-3/5= 10-3/5

=> x= 7/5

Check:

=> x-2y= 2

Taking LHS

=> 7/5-2*-3/10

=> 7/5+6/10

=> 7/5+3/5

=> 10/5

=2

Hence,LHS = RHS
