if , 3x-2y=1

3x=2y+1

so, in second equation

3x-y=5, (3x=2y+1)

2y+1-y=5

y+1=5

y=5-1

y=4

then

, 3x=2y+1,(y=1)

3x=2×1+1

3x=2+1

3x=3

x=3/3

x=1
