Explanation:

➙2x-y=3-----(1)

from equation 1

x= (3+y)÷2

put x's value into equation 2

➙4x+y-3=0------(2)

➙4 {(3+y)÷2}+y=3

➙12+4y/2+y=3

➙12+4y+2y/2=3

➙12+6y=3×2

➙12+6y=6

➙6y= 6-12

➙6y= -6

➙y= -6/6= -1

y= -1

Put y's value into this equation

➙x=(3+y)÷2

➙x= 3+(-1)/2

➙x= 3-1/2

➙x= 2/2

➙x= 1

x= 1

Check:

➙2x-y=3

Taking LHS

➙2(1)-(-1)

➙2+1

=3

Since,LHS = RHS(Verified)
