Q1) Sukhdev, a farmer had a son and a daughter. He decided to divide his property among his children. He decided to give 2/5 of his property to his son and 4/10 to his daughter and the rest to a charitable trust. Now answer the questions given below:-
a) Whose share was more , son’s or daughter’s?
b) Find the share that was given to the trust if his total property was ten lakh.
c) Are 2/5 and 4/10 rational numbers? Why or Why not?
d) If he gives half of the property given to the charitable trust to his wife then how much his wife gets?
e) What value does the farmer depicts?
