Step-by-step explanation:

1.Distance between school and home = 1875m

total distance covered in one day=(1875m+1875m)

distance distance covered in 6 days = 3750×6 = 22500

therefore, 22 km 500m distance covered in 6 days.

2. petrol filled on Monday = 40 litres

petrol filled next day = 50 liters

total petrol filled = 90 liters

now, cost of 1 litre petrol = Rs.44

cost of 90 letters petrol = 44×90

=44×(100-10) = 44×100-44×10 = 4400- 400 = Rs.3960
