Explanation:

Given

We have given perimeter of Rectangle is 13cm

breadth of Rectangle is 2¾ cm.

To Find

We have to find the length of the Rectangle

SOLUTION:

How to solve :

Step1:Firstly write down the formula for Perimeter of Rectangle.

Step2:length is not given so,assume some Variable to complete the formula.

Step3: Evaluate it and hence we will find the length.

Perimeter of Rectangle= 2(length+ breadth)

=>13= 2(. length +11/4)

let the length of the Rectangle be 'x'cm

=>13= 2( x+11/4)

=> 13= 2(4x+11/4)

=>13/2= 4x+11/4

=>13= 4x+11/2

=>26= 4x+11

=>26-11=4x

=>15=4x

=>x= 15/4=3.75cm

hence,length is 3.75cm & breadth is 11/4 (2.75) cm

Check:

Perimeter of Rectangle= 2(3.75+2.75)

=2(6.5)

=13

Extra information=>

Perimeter is the total distance occupy by a solid 2D figure around its edge.

some Properties of Rectangle

  • A rectangle is a type of quadrilateral.
  • Opposite sides are parallel & equal
  • Sum of all Interior angles makes 360°
  • Diagonals bisects each other and both diagonals are of same length.

Answer:

9/3= 4.5

Explanation:

Perimeter of the rectangle= 13cm

Width of the rectangle= 2³/4 = 8/4= 2

Length of rectangle= ?

Perimeter= 2(L+B)

13 = 2(L+2)

13cm = 2L+4

13-4=2L

9= 2L

= 9/2

= 4.5
