Q1.The ratio of fiction to non-fiction books in a library is 2:5. If there are 1421 fiction and non-fiction books altogether, how many fiction books are there in the library?

1) ratio - 2:5

2x+5x=1412. (coz it's the sum total)

7x=1412

x=1412/7

x=21.7

fiction books - 2(x)

2(21.7)
