Explanation:

Ans 1 : Without touch we can identify two different lenses by looking at the size of the newspaper letters under the lens. If the image of the letters is large then it is a convex lens because the convex lens produces a larger image.

Ans 3 : Aerobic respiration takes place in the mitochondria and requires oxygen and glucose, and produces carbon dioxide, water, and energy. (glucose + oxygen -> carbon dioxide + water). Anaerobic respiration also produces energy and uses glucose, but it produces less energy and does not require oxygen.

Ans 4 : Well first of all you note there are more oxygen species on the LHS than the right - so you are going to have to double up the right hand side.

CO + O2 = 2CO2

Now having another look we can see that there are two carbons on the right and only one on the left - so we have to double that,

2CO + O2 = 2CO2

Now we check again - and everything balances.

(with more complicated formulae the ratios are going to vary differently)

Ans 5 :

A convex mirror is a spherical mirror where the mirrored surface is on the outside of the spherical curve. And a concave mirror is a spherical mirror where the mirrored surface is on the inside of the spherical curve. Plane mirrors produce virtual, upright images that are the same size as the object.
