Here HCF should be found as we need to get the maximum length as per question

HCF of 16 , 24 => 8 m

So maximum length is 8m per piece

\mathbb{ANSWER}

2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 16

2 x 2 x 2 x 3 = 24

2 x 2 x 2 is common to both lengths of rope.

2 x 2 x 2 = 8 meters is the maximum length for all pieces to match in length.
