Answer:

)weeds are unwanted plants which are present near crops and are harmful to crops as they compete with crops for water , sunlight, etc.

)The best time to remove weeds is when the soil is damp and moist. The day after it has rained is a great day for weeding. Damp soils are loose and make it easier to remove them with their roots.

)Weedicides are chemicals used to destroy the weeds. They do not harm the crops, but can have a bad effect on the farmer's health. So, the farmers should cover their mouth while spraying these weedicides.

)2 ways of controlling weeds are removing the weeds by hand and by spraying chemicals called weedicides

)Threshing: it is done by beating the sheaves against the wooden bars to separate the grains from the stalks. Winnowing: it is the process of removing the unwanted husk from the grains. It is done by pouring the grains from a height on a windy day when the grains fall on the ground and the chaff is blown away.harvesting: harvesting is the process of removal of entire plants or economic parts after maturity. The economic product may be grain, seed leaf, root or entire plant. The remaining portion of the stem that is left on the field after harvest is known as stubble.

)In godowns grains are stored in jute bags and metal bins
