Answers
Answer:
XYZ is one of the top organization who deals with kid’s clothing. Organization’s different departments, i.e. marketing and human resource departments with different head supervisors Mr William and Mr. Jim with totally different mindsets, are working from the past decade for their company. Although both departments are successful in attaining their organizational goals but still their styles are very different from each other. Marketing department is supervised by Mr. William, who is a good-hearted person but strictly follows the rules and regulations. He is a very stern person and does not accept any intervention in top management’s decision. He believes that employees are part of the organization and they have to exactly follow top management decisions as the organization is paying them a colossal amount to follow the instructions. Moreover, he believes that top management knows about organization more than anybody else as they are experienced employees and can see future vision of the organization that improves current situation. Its top management’s decision to hire right person for the right job. So lower management do not have any right to give their personal opinions.
While, Mr Jim, Human Resource supervisor believes in delegating authorities to lower staff. He also believes that every employee’s point of view matter and they are also part of an organization. Although he agrees with Mr. William’s point of view that top management are experienced employees and better understand organization’s need. Still, he also believes that every employee opinion matters and he gives importance to their viewpoints. He believes that organization should not only listen to their employees but also try to mold them according to organizational needs. In his opinion, supervisors should inspire their employees in such a way that reshape their employees so that they become exactly what is expected from them and that the employees can also attain desired results more efficiently.
