The number of tigers is slowly growing in the tiny Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. New tiger photographs and pugmarks have emerged from different parts of the country, indicating an overall increase in their numbers.

The Royal Manas National Park, one of Bhutan’s oldest parks located in south central Bhutan, saw its tiger population double from 10 to 22 tigers, between 2010 and 2016. A total of 90 camera stations, each with two cameras were installed across 1,300 square kilometers in Manas. According to latest data analysis, the number had increased to 28 tigers in the park by 2018, based on the same camera that had been used for earlier surveys.

if tigers population suddenly decreases in Bhutan, the number of primary consumers (herbivores) )would increase & the number of producers (plants) would decrease. There would be unstable or unbalanced ecosystem

If the species of catfish that survives in the cold area are introduced inside the Thimphu river then the catfish will eventually die.

Explanation:

  1. If tigers are to disappear from our forests, the natural food chain and the environment will create immense chaos, which will completely disrupt the food chain. If an ecosystem loses its predators such as tigers, due to the lack of natural controls, the population size of the species under it will soar. As a result, the ecological environment would start changing as the young plant population would be consumed by  the increased population of herbivore species. It will disrupt the natural succession of the forest.
  2. All animals are ideal for a specific temperature range.  If  animals are brought in a temperature besides that it does not adjust to the new temperature & as a result there is a high probability that I can stop the animal's need is the same for the catfish.  The catfish living in the cold areas have resilience in the body that help it to thrive in the cold areas & as a result it feels like surviving in the hot state.
