1) The complex tissue consists of more than one type of cells which work together as a unit. Complex tissues help in the transportation of organic material, water, and minerals up and down the plants. That is why it is also known as conducting and vascular tissue.

2) The chlorenchyma are parenchymal cells that contain chloroplasts. The chlorenchyma hence serve as the cells that support photosynthesis. In these cells synthesis of carbohydrate is at its maximum, including the pallisade cells, for distribution around the plant.

3) Mendel's seminal work was accomplished using the garden pea, Pisum sativum, to study inheritance. This species naturally self-fertilizes, meaning that pollen encounters ova within the same flower. The flower petals remain sealed tightly until pollination is completed to prevent the pollination of other plants.
