Explanation:

ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION:

  • It refers to current produced in a circuit due to formation of EMF (electro-motive force) with respect to a varying magnetic field and magnetic flux.
  • It was first discovered by Michael Faraday and mathematically postulated by James Clerk Maxwell.
  • The EMF produced can be mathematically written as :

\boxed{ \bf \: E = \dfrac{\Delta \phi}{\Delta t}} </p><p>

Now, current in circuit hence depends upon 2 factors:

  • Rate of change of magnetic flux: Higher the rate change, higher will be the EMF and higher will be the current.
  • Number of coils of wire around the magnetic field: Higher the number of coils, higher is the current.

Hope It Helps.
