Answer:

1) they are small in animal cells and large in plant cells.in plant cells vacuoles are full of cell sap and provide turgidity and rigidity to the cell.in single celled organisms like amoeba, the food vacuole contain the food item that amoeba has consumed.in some unicellular organisms specialised vacuoles also play .

2) a) Only the single-celled organisms of the domains Bacteria and Archaea are classified as prokaryotes—pro means before and kary means nucleus. Animals, plants, fungi, and protists are all eukaryotes—eu means true—and are made up of eukaryotic cells.

b) Mitochondria is a semi autonomous body as it contains its own DNA and nucleus. The inner membrane of mitochondria will also contain ribosomes which is why it can synthesize its own protiens.

Explanation:

3) Lysosomes are organelle found in all cells. Lysosomes contain digestive enzymes. They serve as intra-cellular digestive system, so they are also known as digestive bags. ... So that they are also known as natural scavengers of the cells or cellular housekeepers.

4) When swollen raisins and apricots are put in a concentrated sugar solution, they shrink because they are more concentrated (i.e. they have more water content) than the sugar solution and hence, they lose water.
