Answer:

1 ) Test tube A contains potassium hydroxide solution

2) potassium hydroxide solution absorbs carbon dioxide from incoming air.

3) lime water or we can say calcium hydroxide is present in test tube B

4) When exhaled air is blown through Lime Water which is also known as calcium hydroxide, the carbon dioxide present in the exhaled air reacts with the Lime water and turns it into a milky solution, since the the CO2 reacts with Ca(OH)2 and forms CaCO or Calcium Carbonate, which is insoluble and white in colour.

5) when carbon dioxide passes through lime water, it turns milky

6) As the seeds respire, they are taking in oxygen and respiring out carbon dioxide, but the carbon dioxide is absorbed by the calcium hydroxide. As a result, the amount of air in the sealed test tube actually decreases and water rises in the test tube

7) When exhaled air is blown through Lime Water which is also known as calcium hydroxide, the carbon dioxide present in the exhaled air reacts with the Lime water and turns it into a milky solution, since the the CO2 reacts with Ca(OH)2 and forms CaCO or Calcium Carbonate, which is insoluble and white in colour.

hope it helps you
