●Take 100ml beaker with water and ●mark the level of water.

●Dissolve some sugar or salt in it.

●observe any change in water level.

observation= we observe that salt, sugar absorbed throughout the water and there is no change in water level .

conclusion =matter is made up of particle and has intermolecular space between them .

●Take 2-3 crystal of potassium permagnet and dissolved in 100 ml water .

●take out approximate 10 ml of this solution and put into another 90 ml of clear water .

●keep dilution the solution 5-8 times.

observation =with every dilution throughout the colour became light but colour is still visible.

conclusion= there will be millions of tiny particles in just one crystal of potassium permanganate which keep on dividing themselves into smaller and smaller particles .

3)particle of matter are continuosly moving.

●put an unlit incense stick in a corner of your room how close do you have to go it to take it smell.

now light the incense stick what happened ?do you get smell at distance?

observation =when incense stick is unlit we can't smell the fragrance of it but when we lit the incense stick we get smell at a distance.

conclusion = particle of matter are continuously moving .
