An integer is any whole mathematical number that is not a fraction. Integer can be a positive number, negative or zero.

The answer for the questions:

a) Sum of two numbers that gives an a negative integer:

3 + (-4) = -1
2 + (-5) = -3
4 + (-6) = -2

b) an integer smaller than both integers:

(-1) + (-1) = -2
(-2) + (-3) = -5
(-4) + (-7) = -11

c)An integer smaller than only one of the integers:

3 + (-2)  = 1
1 + (-1) = 0

d) An integer greater than both integer:

1 + 2 = 3
4 + 6 = 10
3 + 5 = 8
7 + 2 = 9
