To create a new presentation:
1) Select the File tab to go to Backstage view. Clicking the File tab.
2) Select New on the left side of the window,
then click Blank Presentation or choose a theme
3) Creating a new presentation.
A new presentation will appear.

STEP1 click on office button.
STEP2 select new options from the drop down menu.
STEP 3 choose blank presentation and click on create.
STEP 4 click on the button in the slides group on home tab and select the desired layout from the displayed list.
Now ,you can add text in the placeholder of the slides.
