Q1.Write why sodium cannot come contact with water but Phosphorus preserves in water?

1) it is because sodium is very reactive in comparison to phosphorus and when it comes in contact with water it catches fire

2)  plaster of Paris if prepared by adding water to it which in turn forms gypsum
