Let the radius of the circle be r cm.

then its circumference = ( 2 × 22/7 × r )cm

66 = 2 × 22/7 × r

r = 66 × 7/44 = 21/2

hence, area of circle = ( 22/7 )² cm²

= ( 22/7 × 22/7 × 21/2 ) cm²

= 346.5 cm²
